Studi Kelayakan Bisnis pada Peternakan Kambing Pulutan Fresh Farm

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the business feasibility of the Pulutan Fresh Farm dairy goat farming business in Salatiga City, using a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Observation, interviews, and documentation are data collection techniques in this study. Based on the analysis of the data that has been carried out, the findings of the study show that Pulutan Fresh Farm has good business prospects. In the market and marketing sector, this business already has regular customers who have collaborated with goat's milk processing companies in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. In the technical and technological sectors, this farm has established standard operating procedures (SOP), scheduled livestock health programs, and the use of supporting technology such as CCTV, feed choppers, automatic drinking utensils, and water filters. In the human resources sector, this effort is also supported by a clear division of duties between owners and workers. From a financial perspective, this business has generated a net profit that is able to return investment in about 3.5 years with an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) value of 25.8%, higher than the minimum rate of return used. On the other hand, financial success must also be aligned with the creation of added value for social, economic, and environmental aspects through job creation and the use of livestock waste into organic fertilizer.
