Perancangan Rantai Pasok Efisien untuk Pengelolaan Ketersediaan Stok Ikan Lele Segar di Industri Perikanan Kota Medan

This study aims to design an efficient supply chain system for managing the availability of fresh catfish stock in Medan City, in order to address challenges such as demand fluctuations, limited storage facilities, and a lack of coordination among industry players. A quantitative approach was used, applying forecasting methods including Simple Average (SA). One year of demand data was analyzed using WinQSB software. The results show that the SA method produced the lowest MAPE value of 10.96%, indicating a higher level of forecasting accuracy compared to other methods. Although the R-square value for the SA method was only 17.64%, forecasting accuracy remains a key consideration in maintaining operational efficiency. Therefore, the SA method is recommended as the basis for planning the availability of fresh catfish stock. The integration of this forecasting strategy is expected to support timely and efficient distribution while preserving the freshness of the product from farmers to consumers.
