Abstract

The rapid development of the business world today encourages MSMEs (Micro Small Medium Enterprise) to continually innovate, one of which is in the area of transaction systems. The convenience in transaction systems provides satisfaction for customers. Point Of Sale (POS) is an application that can record every sales and purchase transaction. POS will become crucial in the business world as it is likened to a cash terminal where payments are received from buyers by merchants, as these payments serve as indicators for businesses to measure their income levels (Axopos, 2015). The aim of this research is to determine the benefits of using a point of sale (POS) application for the progress of MSMEs, particularly coffee shops (Warkop). This research method utilizes qualitative research with data collection techniques through observation and interviews with MSMEs in the city of Medan.
